For a HEAT light, yes it's fine as long as you use a themometer to make sure the basking spot is not too hot. As far as UVB goes that'll require a different bulb but then again there are new bulbs that do emit both.Is this Clear Light Bulb it is a heat light it is 250 watts?
ok well if it is just a 250 watt light bulb from the shops then no because lizards need uv ray lighting which is the light from the sun. you can buy special uv light bulbs from reptile shop but they are quite pricey.
